Thanks for creating such an awesome place (Pace Gallery) where other very talented artist can present their thought provoking & life changing artwork towards your attendees! My name is Edwin Olvera, I’m a 12 year veteran and former dance captain of the world renowned Pilobolus Dance Theatre, who considers myself a contemporary/naive artist. I’ve had a wonderful & successful career as a performer, but for the past 6 years have been flexing my artistic muscles with my other hidden talent! Okay, although I have no formal art training in drawing or painting, I do use concepts from dance & choreography creation such as repetition, extremes, and time constraints to create my unique artwork! My dear friend and former dance partner Andy Herro would always said to me “Sell what you have, not what you don’t” so that’s what I’m doing now! So before you focus your attention in the East, please don’t hesitate to look into the Midwest (actually Milwaukee, WI) home of Miller/Coors, cheese curds and very large people! 😉
Here is where I need your help. It would mean the world to me if you would take a minute and review my artwork I just mailed entitled “Airplanes to Arne”, plus all of my work listed on my website www.edwinolvera.com. Since, you travel a lot around the world and your other Pace Galleries, I have taken the time to mail the same letter and a different stylized airplane addressed to you. I envision my artwork on display at your galleries in 2018 and could use your support. If you have any questions, please contact me. Of course, no worries if you’re too busy to reply. I know how busy you are.

Ps. We both know Collin Barnard of Sonnier & Castle, who does work for your Pace special events in NYC. His husband Mark Fucik is my colleague from Pilobolus, small world!
